Country music fans from across the Highlands and beyond converged on the Black Isle Showground for a drive-in show that allowed fans a fix of live music.

While sticking to Covid-19 restrictions the event featured a stellar line-up of Irish country stars enjoyed by audience members from the safety of their car or family “bubble”.

Organiser Liam Christie said the sell-out show saw a “responsible and happy crowd” enjoy the music in the glorious late summer weather.

He said: “We are delighted with the support for these events and with no future date on the horizon for full face to face events, these shows look like they will be the only safe and responsible way to see live music for some time to come.

“Police Scotland were on site to ensure there were no rule breaches and everyone attending embraced the rules and had a great time.”
