Dozens of motorbike owners from all over the country came out in force to mark the passing of an Inverness businessman.
Following the private funeral of John Birrell last Friday afternoon, bikers led a cortège through the city.
They rode behind Mr Birrell’s family from Culduthel Road to Kilvean Cemetery, where he was laid to rest.
Mr Birrell died aged 55 on August 17 after an altercation in the street with his neighbour.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne and two children Jake and Georgia.
Dr Hamish Towler, a retired surgeon from Blackpark, Inverness, is charged with culpable homicide.
