The big top tent at Bught Park in Inverness which hosted a triple header of live music last weekend will be the venue for more entertainment this weekend.

Passers-by have been wondering why the massive tent has not been dismantled after it was the venue for concerts by Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Ministry of Sound Classical and Skipinnish.

But the organisers of the Inverness Highland Games, which are taking place on Saturday, have confirmed it is staying in position for more live music.

It will be used to host Macgregor's bar, live music and indoor traders during the day and for the Big Top Ceillidh in the evening.

“We’re very excited to welcome everyone back for the 2024 City of Inverness Highland Games,” a games spokesperson said.

“With a number of competitions, attractions and a great variety of trade stalls, we’re expecting a brilliant day!

“Whether you come to compete, spectate or enjoy the delicious food on offer we’re sure that you’ll have a great day out and enjoy the range of activities on offer for all ages.”
