Beached sperm whale spotted at Ardersier, near Inverness

CONCERNS have been raised over a sperm whale which has beached near Inverness.

Video footage has been posted online within the last 30 minutes which shows the creature near to the shore with its tail being blown about in the waves off Ardersier.

Eye-witness reports suggested that it appeared to be injured and the tide was going out.
