The Bannatyne health clubs across Scotland are hoping to reopen on Monday April 26 – however this will be dependent on Tier announcements from the Scottish Government.

A range of policies and procedures at the Inshes retail park gym will be in place to safeguard members and staff including:

• compulsory face masks except when actually exercising;

• social distancing measures including less equipment, lockers and showers in use, monitoring pool areas and changing rooms;

• signage throughout the club;

• hand sanitisation stations and enhanced cleaning;

• temperature checks on entering;

• cashless transactions.

A spokesman said: "Clubs will be operating where possible with the Book, Individual Studio Spaces (BISS) system in the studios, which are bookable via the Bannatyne App. Café bars will be open to eat and drink in (no alcohol) but will close at 8pm."
