B&M break-in plea from Inverness police more than a month after hooded thief makes off with stolen goods

Police are appealing for witnesses to a break-in at a large Inverness store more than a month ago.

A thief raided B&M store in the city's Telford Street at around 1am on Sunday, September 22, making off with a number of items.

The suspect is described as male, aged 25-30 years old, tall and skinny, and was wearing an all black tracksuit with the hood up, and black shoes with air bubbles.

He was also carrying a black backpack with luminous stripes on the sides.

Detective constable Tyler Beverly said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has private CCTV or dashcam footage which could be relevant, to please get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0238 of 22 September.
