Appeal to trace missing Inverness man

Police have issued an appeal inc connection with a man reported missing from Inverness.

Michael McColl (33) was last seen in the Raigmore Estate area of the city at around 11pm on Christmas Eve.

He is described as being around 6ft tall and of slim build with a pale complexion.

He has short brown hair, speaks with an Inverness accent and habitually wears a blue denim jacket with grey cotton sleeves, black jeans and a black beanie style hat.

He has lip and nose piercings.

Acting Inspector Shahid Maqsood said: “As time passes we naturally grow increasingly concerned for Michael and want to ensure that he is safe.

“I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen him or who has any other information which help us to get in touch as soon as they can.

“You can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference NN12859/18.”
