Police have issued an appeal for information after a man was reported being seen entering cars and trying to gain entry to other vehicles in Nairn.

The reported incidents happened in the early hours of Saturday in the town's Merryton Crescent area.

The man is described as being white, aged approximately from his late teens to mid 30s, with short blonde hair, wearing a blue jacket with a hood and walking with a distinctive limp.
