Details of the 13th recorded sighting of Nessie have been released.

Benjamin Scanlon was on holiday with his family and took a trip on the 'Nessie Hunter' of Loch Ness Cruises on August 26.

He spotted something on the sonar on the boat and caught an image shared on the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register website.

The boat's captain estimated it to be 3-4m long, at a depth of about 20m.
