Tulloch Homes has been given permission to build 15 affordable homes on a site near Tesco in Dores Road.

Highland Council approved the application, which described the properties as one to three bedroomed bungalows and villas.

The homes provide a substitution for the required affordable housing provision at Drummond Hill, Stratherrick Road, in Inverness, which was originally approved in November 2018.

The site covers an area of 5574 sq m of vacant land.

Permission has been granted subject to a number of conditions including submitting a plan for the delivery of green infrastructure on the site prior to any development. An agreement will have to be reached over the materials to be used in external finishes of all built structures.
