A global adventurer who is running all the way from Land's End to John o' Groats called in for supplies when she was at Tomatin.

Rosie Swale Pope MBE visited The Strathdearn tea room and restaurant and the moment was shared through their Facebook page.

Their post read: "We had the privilege and honour to meet Rosie Swale Pope MBE today at The Strathdearn. This amazing lady has run from Lands End and is on her way to John o' Groats.

"She stopped of for a coffee and shortbread and got supplies for this evening from the community shop. We wanted to sponsor her for her efforts and what did she do? She wanted the money to stay local because of the amazing community we have so put the donation to the local food bank. What a generous lady."

During her journey she is sleeping in her trailer, which she pulls along while running, and the post added: "We take our hats off to you Rosie. You are an inspiration and some of the local boys were delighted to hear about your adventures so far and I think were quite in awe of your hardiness camping in your trailer in the cold."
