A9 drainage probe on Inverness section between Longman Roundabout and Raigmore Interchange cancelled

A probe into drainage on a section of the A9 in Inverness has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Six nights of work were originally planned to start yesterday before being pushed back to today but now BEAR Scotland - which is doing the work on behalf of Transport Scotland - has said it will not happen yet.

The work was supposed to take place between Longman Roundabout and Raigmore Interchange.

A spokesperson for BEAR Scotland said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, drainage investigations on the A9 between Longman Roundabout and Raigmore Interchange have now been cancelled. New dates will be shared once the works have been rescheduled.”
