A9 closed in both directions near Moy, south of Inverness, after serious crash

Emergency services are at a serious crash on the A9 near Moy.

The road is closed in both directions following the incident at around 4.45pm today.

A police spokesman said: "Emergency services are dealing with a serious road crash on the A9 south of Inverness.

"Police were called around 4.45pm this afternoon.

"The road is currently closed in both directions.

"We have no further information at this time, and will provide an update when we can."

A spokesman for Traffic Scotland said: "A9 at Moy is currently closed due to a road traffic incident. Road users are advised to use an alternative route."
