A82 closed between Inverness and Drumnadrochit due to road traffic incident

The A82 between Inverness and Drumnadrochit is currently closed due to a single-vehicle crash.

The incident took place at the Blackfold and Abriachan junction according to police.

Traffic Scotland is warning motorists to use a different route and allow extra time for this journey.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The following diversion is now in place; traffic from Inverness will be diverted via the A862 Inverness to Beauly road to its junction with the A833 Culnakirk, until it meets the A831 near Drumnadrochit, then turn left back towards the A82.”
