A82 closed after tree lands on road between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit near Loch Ness as Storm Dennis batters country

The A82 is currently closed in both directions between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit due to a fallen tree.

A signed diversion is in place.

Traffic Scotland advise drivers should allow for longer journey times.

It is understood nobody was injured by the falling tree.

It comes as Storm Dennis batters parts of the country, causing disruption for many.
