A spokesman from High Life Highland, which operates the facility, said: “This holiday season, while everyone’s winding down, we’re rolling up our sleeves to give our pool areas and health suite at Inverness Leisure a little TLC - with fresh paint, new grout, and an extra bit of re-sealing.

“To get everything just right, our wet side areas will take a short holiday too and will be closed from December 24 to January 2 inclusive.”

The dry side of the centre, including the gym, will be shut on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, as well as Hogmanay, New Year’s Day and January 2, with reduced opening hours on Christmas Eve and December 27-30.

“For our dry side areas including gym, strength and conditioning room, studios and courts, we will be operating reduced hours as we normally would during the festivities,” the spokesman added.

“Don’t worry, our we’ll be back open as normal and look forward to welcoming you on Friday, January 3, 2025.”
