HARDIE Peacefully, on Tuesday, 2nd July, 2024 at Kingsmills Care Home, James Stephen Hardie, 1 Souter Drive, Inverness, aged 89 years. Former Principal Lighthouse Keeper. Beloved husband of Nan McGill Ronnie, loving uncle and cousin. Missed by all the family. Funeral service on Wednesday, 17th July at 1pm in Mail Cemetery, Bressay, Shetland and sadly, on Saturday, 6th July, 2024, also at Kingsmills Care Home, his dearly loved wife, as above. She was the most loving aunt to all the family. The funeral service for Nan will take place in Dankeith Symington Cemetery, Ayr with first husband William, date to be confirmed.
