MACRURY Peacefully on Sunday, 8th September, 2024, at Raigmore Hospital, Jane Ann (Jean) MacRury (née Morrison), aged 87 years. Born in North Dell, Lewis, and a pupil of the Nicolson Institute, Jean was a devoted mother and successful proprietor of a B&B in Inverness for many years. She was the beloved wife of John, who predeceased her in 2022 after 60 years of marriage. Jean was a loving mother to Iain and Kay, and to the late Calum, mother-in-law to Laura and Ben, and a devoted grandmother to Leith, Charlotte, Gracie, and step-grandmother to James. She leaves behind a wide Hebridean family and many good friends.
