Designed by Tom Doak – who has worked on six of the top 100 courses in the world according to Golf Magazine – The Old Petty will take golfers closer than ever before to Old Petty Church, which was built in 1839, along the tidal estuary.

As part of the latest release, Cabot Highland have also confirmed the logo for the new course, featuring a highland cow, which is already available to buy on a number of products.

Ground was broken on the second course at Castle Stuart last summer, when plans to expand the clubhouse and build new accommodation were also confirmed, expecting to create 175 new jobs.

Although there have been some hiccups along the way, both projects were expected to be completed by spring 2025 – which would allow preview play around the Old Petty course to begin next season.
