A WOMAN attacked an off-duty night club supervisor at a McDonald’s restaurant in Inverness.

Angela Crosbie punched the woman on the side of her face in the early hours of October 7 last year at the restaurant in High Street, Inverness.

Depute fiscal Niall Macdonald told Inverness Sheriff Court the woman had just finished her shift and got into conversation with Crosbie.

“Thereafter the accused was asked to leave McDonald’s and the complainer assisted with this,” he said. “The accused approached her and threw a single punch which struck her on the side of the face.”

Crosbie (50), of Macewan Drive, Inverness, admitted the assault though solicitor Natalie Paterson said she had little recollection of the incident.

She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £200 compensation.
