HIGHLAND 2007 came to an end tonight (Saturday) with a spectacular show of fireworks and music which lit up Kessock Bridge in Inverness.

Controversy may have dogged the £300,000 extravaganza to its end, but hundreds of people joined the torchlight procession from Huntly Street to Longman Drive where they joined hundreds more waiting to see the show. The recent gales and snow relented, providing a perfect, still night for Marseille-based Groupe F to launch a 15-minute salvo of sound and colour across Beauly Firth. See Tuesday’s Inverness Courier for a full report and more pictures. |
