SUMMER is going by, and it's going by very quickly! Though you need not fear just yet as you still have time to make the most of the warm weather by booking holidays for either July or August.

Italy is a great summer destination in which you will be able to indulge in the splendour of the Mediterranean region with family, friends or your significant other. With cheap flights to Pisa, you will get the chance to explore a great city in north-western coastal region of Italy. For starters, Pisa is a great location to consider because it will offer you new scenery and a fresh atmosphere, but without having to spend too much time in transit. Depending upon where you are flying from in the UK, your flight should take less than three hours. If you're flying from London, you'll arrive in less than two and a half hours! Whether you're looking for a brief weekend holiday, or hoping to spend a little more time on the Peninsula, you'll have plenty of things to do and new sights to see whilst abroad. Of course if you are visiting Pisa, you simply must go make your way to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or La Torre di Pisa as the locals call it. Here, you can marvel at how this ancient tower has remained standing for so many years and of course, take some hilarious photographs there with your travel mates. Other sites that you will have to visit include the historic and beautiful Duomo, the Piazza del Cavalieri, the Botanical Garden, the Baptistery and the Camposanto cemetery. And of course, while you're travelling don't forget to refuel by sampling the delicious local Italian cuisine that will be available to you! This city is rich with history and just a short drive away from the sea, where you can go and experience the water and sand at your leisure. It really does offer the best of both worlds! Even if you already have all of your summer holidays booked, Pisa will be waiting for you to visit its limits and enjoy the sights it holds for all seasons. And with such great deals available to get there, it's certainly a holiday destination worth keeping at the forefront of your mind. So, go on, get out there and explore Italy!
