Firefighters tackle Cradlehall car blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a car fire in an Inverness neighbourhood.

One appliance attended the incident at Cradlehall Park this afternoon, with crew members using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet for 20 minutes to bring the flames under control.

It is understood nobody was injured in the incident involving a parked BMW.

A fire service spokeswoman said: “We attended a car fire in Cradlehall Park, Inverness after being called out at 3.46 pm. When we arrived one vehicle was well alight.

There is extensive damage to the vehicle.”
