FORMER Caley Thistle goalkeeper Mark Brown has joined Ross County on a short-term deal.
With Joe Malin, who is second choice to number one Michael Fraser, currently sidelined with a knee injury, Adams has signed the 31-year-old as cover until January.
With previous Scottish Premier League experience at Motherwell, Celtic, Kilmarnock and most recently Hibernian as well, Brown had a trial spell with Southend United, but did not win a deal with the English League Two club.
Having returned to Scotland, Brown’s availability tempted County manager Derek Adams to make a move and he happy to have added another experienced player to his squad.
"We don’t know how long Joe is going to be out for, so it was crucial that we strengthened this area," he said.
"Mark not only gives us cover, but he also gives great competition to Michael Fraser.
"He’s a player who knows the SPL well having been at Rangers, Celtic and Hibs during his career, so that can only be a benefit to us."
