Sudden death in Inverness

Police are making inquiries after the sudden death of a 35-year-old man in Inverness.

Two ambulances and police officers were called to a flat in Riverside Gardens, near Ness Bank, at about 11.20am today and the man was declared dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at, however the cause of death remains unexplained.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal and enquiries are ongoing.
