Separately, there was extensive damage to a car that caught fire on the A82 at 5.20am.

It is thought nobody was injured in either incident.

Two fire engines were sent to the fire in Hilton, which was extinguished by 1.33am.

One appliance went to the A82 blaze, near Balchraggan, and the area was safe by 5.40am.

It is not yet known if any of the incidents are being treated suspiciously by police.
