Police have recovered roughly £1200 worth of crack cocaine on an Inverness city centre street.
The class A drug was recovered in Academy Street during a police operation on Monday afternoon.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector Peter Mackenzie said: “There is no place for illegal drugs in our communities which causes misery to many families and I would urge anyone with information to pass it on so we can take action to prevent criminal activity.
“I would encourage anyone with concerns to contact police on 101.”
