Highland Council is urging residents to consider a distance learning course in primary school education.

The course, offered by the University of Aberdeen, starts in January with a deadline for applications on August 21.

The primary education postgraduate diploma is a part-time distance learning course that takes 18 months to complete, including 18 weeks of placement experience in a Highland Council school. The course is a mixture of e-learning and face to face days.

For further details email holly.ross@highland.gov.uk or head along to an information session at Central Primary School on July 1 from 11am until 1pm.
