HURST - Suddenly passed away, on Friday, 10th February, 2017, the day before his 69th birthday, Simon Anthony Hurst, 34 Brookfield, Culloden Moor. Former aviation consultant. Much loved husband of Tanya, loving father of Andrew and Nigel, dear grandad of Abigail, William, Michael and Sam. Sadly missed. EVERETT - Sadly missed, Robert Anthony Everett BSc MSc MInstP, of Fort Augustus, died peacefully at home, on 8th February, 2017, aged 85. He is survived by his loving wife Iris, children Martin, Paul, Ingrid, Athene and Leigh and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob will be best remembered in the community for his dedication as headmaster of Kilchuimen Academy in Fort Augustus and Leverhulme Memorial School in Harris and as a past Chairman of the British Legion and Secretary of the Community Council. A cremation ceremony will be held at 2pm, on Friday, 24th February, 2017, at the Inverness Crematorium, all friends, colleagues and past pupils welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers, at the service or forward to William T. Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, will be divided amongst the Royal British Legion (Fort Augustus Branch), Diabetes UK and Prostate Cancer UK.

HAY - Andrew Bertram Hay, 1945 - 2017. Andrew, son of the eminent obstetrician "Doc" Hay, died peacefully, in Newcastle, Australia, after a short illness. Andrew attended Inverness Academy and Fort Augustus Abbey. An international businessman in Asia. He also sang Scottish songs and played well on the guitar. All his many friends in Hong Kong and Inverness will miss a great guy with his wit and presence. His wife Vicky had a good life with Andrew and before passing he told her how much he loved her.
